Mayor Hickenlooper Kicks Off
PT Month In Colorado!
Denver
Mayor
John Hickenlooper kicked off Physical Therapy
Month 2006 with an official proclamation that recognizes
the importance of physical therapists in Colorado.
Hickenlooper’s
recognition of Physical Therapy Month, which is
celebrated across the nation each October, is the first
of many more that are expected to be signed by mayors
and city councils across the state.
So far this year, at least 18 proclamations
were signed by officials from various cities and one
by Colorado Governor Bill Owens.

Therapy students and promotes the importance of Physical
Therapy education and research.
Here's the text of

it is appropriate that we recognize these individuals
who dedicate their time and talent toward enhancing the
physical health of the citizens of our state and thank
