Colorado
Chapter and PPSIG
Celebrate
PT Month 2004!
The Colorado Chapter requested mayors and city councils
of 25 communities in the state to proclaim October 2004
as Physical Therapy Month. Sixteen
municipalities responded with a signed proclamation
(Arvada, Aspen, Brighton, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Durango, Estes Park,
Grand Junction, Lakewood, Littleton, Montrose, Pueblo,
Thornton, Westminster and Wheat Ridge). PPSIG members
in the localities accepted the proclamations.
In addition, the PPSIG copied and distributed APTA's
"Moments Like These" public service
announcement to 23 Public Access Channels throughout
the state. The announcement aired during PT
Month.
